I walked hrough the hallwy, looking for my locker. I had never been to a real school before so this is a whole new experience for me. It looks very cofusing, and it looks like theres no sleeping in anymore... i was not really paying attenion to where i was going, but more to the stack of books I was hold when I walked right into someone, dropping most of the books and i said"I am so sorry."

Rushing through the hallways, nearly late to class I was almost through the door when someone had walked into me. Typically, I was the kind of girl who would have raised cane with her and started a fight over the minor problem, but I made a decision that I needed to get over my short temper and atleast try to be friendly. It wouldn't kill me. or so I thought.
I looked at the girl who's books had spread all over the floor, "Don't worry about it," I lied into my smile as I handed her one of the many books on the ground. "I'm Miranda. You?"

I smiled sincerely this time, and sighed, thinking about missing New York. "Same. Where you from?" I asked.

I nodded my head and beamed. Someone I could relate to. hopefully.
"Really?! So am I, I lived on the outskirts but ended up practically hanging out in Central Park almost everyday. So I just tell people New York City," I added.

"I don't get it...they like..expect us to drive in cars and walk everywhere...I'm used to pulling over a cab or getting in a subway, it seems easier. But I guess It's just one of those things we'll have to get used to," I stated then shrugged my shoulders.

"Then I'm sure we can relate to eachother." I reassured her. "Well I'll catch up with you later, maybe lunch?" I suggested, "I got to get to class, later," I said and waved to Aly as I scurried into my next class just as the bell rang.
saved by the bell.
